Show notes for RBDF #138:

Here is an episode that I will call ‘Spring Cleaning,’ since it covers a lot of CD’s that have been sitting in my “Need to listen to” box for more than a few weeks. I did my best to keep my talking to a minimum and let the music speak for itself. A lot of different sounds and a healthy dose of Gothic flavored rock on this episode. So those of you who are in to the spookiness of life, enjoy it. I don’t play this stuff for you that often.

On this episode you will hear:

  • Eyes Shut Tight – Mother Darksome and Divine [Secret Destroyer] (2010)
  • MaelStroM – Viens! [Let’s Dance To…Forget] (2005)

Original show notes from this episode:

The Midi Ghetto Tour recap episode. I spent 10 days on the road with 16volt, Chemlab and Left Spine Down, and here is my attempt to compress 10 days on the road in to the tight confines of a 2 hour show.

Hear my less than detailed stories of the shows that took place in St. Louis, Chicago, Toronto, Ottawa, London, Montreal, Providence, New York City and Cleveland.

Also hear of my interactions with fans of Razor Blade Dance Floor, fans of the bands on the tour, and the members of bands such as Defcon, Everything Goes Cold, Doomsday Virus, Android Lust, Neuroplague, Christ Analogue, Caustic, Unter Null, Neuroplague, I, Parasite and Bile, amongst others.

Also hear of my chance to smooze with the labels that I have supported on this show, such as Primordial Music, Bit Riot Records, Metropolis Records and WTII Records.

Here is the tracks that I play on the show:

  • Murder Happens – Dead and Spun [Dead World and Dying Suns] (2009)
  • Defcon – Last Chance [Flat Black Philosophy] (2010)
  • Promonium Jesters [Rust (Long)] (2010)

Original show notes from this episode:

Another interview show for everyone to enjoy. The first part of the show is a sit down conversation that I had with Eric Powell of 16volt, who makes his third appearance on the show to discuss the Midi Ghetto tour, Hellb3nt, American Porn Songs Remixed and the next 16volt album, Everyone is Sinking (or is it Everyone is Syncing?)!

The second part of the show wasn’t exactly what I was planning, so I threw it together on the fly.

Anyways, things went astray and I decided that I was depriving you guys of a regular show, so I went ahead and decided that I could pack on a somewhat condensed show at the tail end of the Eric Powell interview.

Here is what is heard on the show:

  • 16volt – Things Unkind [Electronic Saviors: Industrial Music To Cure Cancer] (2010)
  • Hellbent – Jet Boy Machine [Hardcore Vanilla] (2001)
  • Combichrist – Scarred [Scarred Single] (2010)
  • KMFDM – Day of Light [Day of Light Single] (2010)
  • Omega Lithium – Andromeda [Dreams In Formaline] (2010)
  • Minim – I’m Crazy But People Are Ill [9567: Here Even It’s Yesterday] (2010)
  • Megaherz – Heuchler (Steinkind Remix) [Loblieder] (2010)
  • Eisbrecher – Gothkiller [Eiszeit] (2010)
  • Cold Divide – Distance [Grand Manipulations] (2009)
  • Porn – Call Me [A Decade of Glitter and Danger] (2010)
  • Revolting Cocks – Juice [Got Cock?] (2010)
  • Nanochrist – Chaos Mirror [Dead Fiction] (2009)
  • Al Jourgensen – Voices In My Head [Voices In My Head Single] (2010)

Keep supporting the artists. Those who are doing it, you fucking rock! Those who aren’t…you suck.
