Original show notes from this episode:

I’m guessing that since I can not reasonably predict my work schedule, the podcast will continue to be bi-weekly until I can get a grasp on the demands of my day job. Since I haven’t been able to conclusively manage my free time (what little there is of it) you will be receiving this podcast essentially whenever the hell I have time to do it. Which is frustrating because if I had my way, I would make one every day!

So now that I have vented, here is what to expect on this episode of Razor Blade Dance Floor:

  • Nasag – Orchestvore [Sect] (2011)
  • Neurotech – Inject Me Now [Antagonist] (2011)
  • Helltrash – Gimme Suicide [Bossfight] (2010)
  • Substance Black – Voidwalker [Skulptura EP] (2011)
  • Xternals – I.A.D. [Fistful of Infinity] (2011)

  • Nitzer Ebb – To The Hilt (Die Krupps Cover) [Join In The Rhythm of Machines EP] (2011)

Show notes for RBDF #138:

Here is an episode that I will call ‘Spring Cleaning,’ since it covers a lot of CD’s that have been sitting in my “Need to listen to” box for more than a few weeks. I did my best to keep my talking to a minimum and let the music speak for itself. A lot of different sounds and a healthy dose of Gothic flavored rock on this episode. So those of you who are in to the spookiness of life, enjoy it. I don’t play this stuff for you that often.

On this episode you will hear:

  • Etherdust – 24 [Be Paranoid Be Safe] (2008)
  • Eyes Shut Tight – Mother Darksome and Divine [Secret Destroyer] (2010)

Original show notes from this episode:

Here is an episode that comes together at the last minute and then takes on a life of it’s own.  In the middle of preparing this episode, I was contacted by Bit Riot Records to get an interview done with Everything Goes Cold to help promote their great new album “Everything Goes Cold vs. General Failure.” This is something I really wanted to do, but given my retarded work schedule, I was afraid that I couldn’t pull it off.

Long story short, we made it happen. Eric Gottesman sat down with me on December 10th and discussed the debut full-length Everything Goes Cold release, and despite the difficulties that ensued (which you will witness in this podcast) it turned out really well.

Since I didn’t think that I was going to be able to put together a podcast until early in the new year, I figured that I was still obligated to produce a regular show.

So you get 2 shows in 1. The first part is the interview with Eric Gottesman, the second part is a regular version of the Razor Blade Dance Floor.

It’s long but worth it. And I’m not just saying that because it’s my show. OK. Maybe I am…

  • Everything Goes Cold – Retry [Everything Goes Cold Vs. General Failure] (2009)
  • Everything Goes Cold – Ice Brigade [Everything Goes Cold Vs. General Failure] (2009)
  • Battle Scream – Secret Invasion [Suffering Vs. Salvation] (2009)
  • Cell 7 – Red [Re:cognition] (2009)
  • Rivethead – Stay Alive [Zero Gravity] (2009)
  • Sarcophony – To The Bone [Violence] (2009)
  • The Rabid Whole – Selfish Nature (16 Volt Remix) [000] (2009)
  • I Will Never Be the Same – Eyes Turning Black [Standby] (2009)
  • Die! – Schoner Schein [Still] (2009)
  • Zeromancer – It Sounds Like Love (But Looks Like Sex) [It Sounds Like Love (But Looks Like Sex EP)] (2009)
  • I:Scintilla – Hollowed [Prey On You] (2009)
